Fundraiser - Pocket Change 4 PMUs…  Giving PMU’s Another Chance!

14,000+ mares were relieved of duty in the PMU industry in 2003– and now more cuts have been announced in 2005.  They need your help  – can you spare your change? 

Print the second page and attach it to a large coffee can, get permission to display it in a high traffic area- tell us where and we will post the location on our website and become part of Another Chance 4 Horses national can-paign to help PMU's.  Check the can weekly, collect and return funds to Another Chance 4 Horses, 166 Station Rd., Bernville, PA  19506. 

Another Chance 4 Horses, an International, 501(c)3 incorporated, nonprofit based in Pennsylvania -successfully brought 50 PMU babies into the USA in November of 2003 that were destined for the feed lots/meat buyers and they are all in their new homes!  The funds raised -over $5000.00- for this task was done in eight days!!

Now we have the task of helping more babies-when they are mature enough to make the trip, 200 hundred mares (most in foal) and stallions down from Canada this winter. This does not include the horses and weanlings coming this spring or the local rescues!

Our Pocket change 4 PMUs Can-paign is coming along, however we really need your support.   If these horses make it to the auctions we have no control to their final destination, in addition to the undo stress and illnesses they will be exposed to.   Another Chance 4 Horses has placed over 100 horses for the 2003 year and assisted in placing over 1,000 in 2004. We look forward to doing more for our equine-human population in 2005 with your help.

Please join the international coalition of horse related organizations “The Horse 4orce”, (www.horse4orce.com)  consisting of rescues, therapeutic riding centers, shelters, rehabilitation centers, horse-therapy centers, equestrian services centers, horse owners and other groups. 

In addition to our fundraising efforts we are looking for corporate sponsors, food donations, veterinary supplies, foster farms and land to relocate our main office.
