 Leroy rescued from direct to slaughter kill pen thanks to the FOB's, NEER and AC4H yahoo gruops.  He is a dark bay almost black horse who came up to me from about 65 head of horses and on his halter are the words "I love my owner"....  standing at about 16 hands this boy is affectionate and friendly.  He is easy to ride light off the legs and a very smooth walk, trot and canter.

Identity of the "I Love My Owner" gelding-His registered name is Cauldron, by Brocco out of a mare named Halloween Joy.   No talent for racing, only had 6 career starts, 0-1-0 with earnings from his solo second place win of 7100.00.Last raced at Monmouth in NJ, July 01'.  Listed trainer at that time, Michael R. Matz - trainer of Barbaro. 

Would love to know where this fella's been floating around for the past 6 yrs that he has been off the track.

Not only was this boy trained by Michael Matz, he also is related to Barbaro!  Barbaro's grand sire is Roberto...Roberto is Cauldron's great grand sire.  Coincidence?   I think not...
