This is the first time any of us have come across a versatile horse as this mare! She's also run steeplechase twice!! Bred royally- and sadly, tossed like garbage.... pulled from the Direct to slaughter pen.

with total lifetime earnings of $63,800. She ran on both the a flat track
and did hurdles as well.
Dorothy Dixer who was saved from the direct to slaughter pen the day that Inside Edition was there to interview - Tina and Adrianna who are from Canada. Adrianna fell in love with Dorothy the minute she laid eyes on her picture, she said she can't stop watching her video and well Dorothy felt the same way about her. Adrianna is an experienced rider/trainer who would like to teach Dorothy low level dressage, eventing and jumping. She currently has a mare that she shares a partnership with that saw her first show season consistantly in the ribbons! Very promising! We are excited for them both.
