Hope - slaughter rescue - she started dripping milk on the ride home
and we thought she was in foal. We tried to find out her past by the
consignor but they didn't register with a name or number they picked up
their check and we couldn't find their name through our searching.
Vet confirmed 2-2-06 that she is not pregnant (through ultrasound and palpation) but most likely lost the baby as she has milk and no signs of trauma or suckling. What a sad story for Hope... her past will remain a mystery and we will never know the circumstances to which left her without her baby. She has great ground manners is smooth mouth and 15 hands. She ties, loads and is extremely easy to handle on the ground. Hope has a slightly crooked knee on her left side. Although she is really broke she would be best suited for pasture pal or leadline.
