“We felt that our industry was underserved by the general media and Serius gives us the opportunity to reach a huge audience. The network has more than four million subscribers” Salzman noted “Our affiliation with Sidelines will give us access to the latest breaking news in polo, arena sports and eventing.”

“We’ll be providing an interesting mix of information along with the news format. Features on equine lifestyle and therapy will be a large part of the show as well as some very exciting human interest segments. We think the audience will be pleasantly surprised with the scope of our guest. This won’t be your traditional horse show. It is designed to be fast paced and entertain.” Salzman said.

“EquiSport Report will provide a comprehensive radio magazine that will provide fresh insight into the many aspects of the equine community.” related Executive Producer Patricia Baldwin “We’ve approached this as entertainment equestrian style”.

There is a large interactive component to the series as well and our website which will be launched shortly will provide ample opportunity for our audience to be a part of the EquiSport experience.” Baldwin explained.

“We like the concept of Sirius radio as a vehicle to provide information to the marketplace” remarked Eric Nelson, who heads the marketing and development team. “We have increased journalistic freedom and can produce the type of show that will reach a wide audience and being a part of the Channel 125 Horse Block is even better. We look for strong national presence that will build on a strong base.
