Broker owned horses - brokers buy and sell horses to earn a living and most are run through auctions.  We have taken a pro-active, preventative approach by listing these horses and acting as intermediaries to allow them additional time and a larger viewing audience in hopes that they find homes.   We do not own these horses, they are not at our farm. The information given regarding the horses is approximated (best guess) not guaranteed by Another Chance 4 Horses.

Horses In Our Care-  AC4H, Inc. Available Horses,  horses who have been rescued from abuse, neglect, slaughter or surrendered who have been rehabilitated, evaluated and are ready for a new home.    

  Companion or $0 Fee Horses  Waiting lists to surrender horses are always long and almost always the horses need help immediately.  Another Chance 4 Horses wanted to offer immediate assistance to those in need even when there was "no room" to accept surrenders.  We decided to offer a free service for $0 fee or companion horses who are looking for a new home.

  Consignment Horses  We offer owners of horses an alternative way to find new homes for their horses (we average 30,000- 50,000 unique visitors each month) and offer the use of our Transfer of Ownership form in your name or farm name Transfer of Ownership.

Rehabilitation -  We need help to pay for the expensive vet bills - see horses in rehabilitation for updates and information.   Donations gratefully accepted and also directly to our vet office.  Our feed store also accepts donations directly.

All Breed Success Stories    it's wonderful to know that they are safe and in loving homes... read some of the success stories of horses that received "another chance".

 

AC4H & the community....

Another Chance 4 Horses is very much involved in the community.  We believe education is the key and the children are our future.  We provide community service opportunities as well as educational events to the general public and to individuals.  From underprivileged programs, 4H, Scouts visiting elementary schools or holding educational equine expo/seminars known as (see events page) or fundraising events we educate the public at every available opportunity.  If you would like us to come to your event, horse show, meeting or workplace for a presentation please contact us.

 
Initiated in 2001 we are approved as a community service center and participate with a local high school providing hands on community service for graduation.  In 2004 we started to participate in Service Learning as well.   Another Chance 4 Horses, Inc. attended a mentor appreciation breakfast award ceremony 5-16-07 and was the recipient of a plaque for participation in the Twin Valley School Districts School to Career Program 2007.  It was a pleasure to work with Twin Valley School district and student Abbie Fischer in 2006 and 2007.
