"Beauty" the sling

The sling a support system that was purchased for the rehablitation of the
Percheron, "Beauty" (Read Beauty's Story.) is helping many horses, here are some examples.

We notified our vet staff that we have a sling for horses in need and it has been utilized to help lift several horses that were downed and just needed a safe help up. You can purchase a sling for approximately $1,500.00.
August 2004 a call came from Shana who is fostering Miracle for the SPCA - see the article below although she is still not able to stand on her own - she most likely would have died from complications if not for "beauty". Rick, president of AC4H was on hand to help Miracle into the sling and she is stable we are hopeful that she will have a full recovery.
8/04 Despite all efforts Miracle was just too weak and lost her battle for life - she will be greatly missed.

Seized during the investigation of a cruelty
case, Miracle is currently in foster care while she recovers from her brush
with death caused by near starvation. She is 14 hands, great with
children. Miracle may never carry a rider anymore, but would make a great
"lawn ornament" for a dedicated "horse person". The vets tell us that this
is the worse case they have ever seen. Miracle needs extensive medical
care, and the cost is over $1000 and rising. We are asking our supporters
to open their hearts to Miracle and donate whatever your budget will allow.
