Note from Horse Helper-

Paige called me back and left a message. Said that SHE (Paige) took the mare to the sale...said she "had to" because she has 25 horses already and can't take her back because she was FREE and she "can't" pay $600 for her anyway. Paige said her friend took her off of the track and was going to take her directly to the sale, so to keep her from going straight to NH off the track, Paige took her and kept the mare for 2 weeks to try to give her more time to find a home. Well, she didn't find a home and Paige took her to the sale anyway. Said that she included the DVD and flyer to hope it helped her get a home. Said she had "no other choice". Paige also thanked me for calling her and letting her know..said a friend of hers had already alerted her to the mare being on the lot last night. Paige said "thank you for doing what you do" and she "hopes she finds a home".

Note from horse helper who spoke with person on papers: I talked to the owner of the registered gelding harness horse and i talked to the owner of the gray standardbred. the standardbreds owner said he tried to keep him after his race career ended did so for about 18 months the horse rides and drives is an excellent horse for other pasture horses very calm and well trained and behaved. he sold him to an amish who brought the horse to the sale in a matter of days.

10-11-16 - Palomino gelding approx 16 hands and 5 yr old people friendly, gentle and willing. He was in pasture was very easy to catch he walked right up to Lara she brought him up and popped on him bareback he rode off nice and slow quiet and gentle then she tied lead rope to the other side of halter to make bridle for more control and rode him some more he is on the lazy side did nice walk/trot and back up didn't mind leg on him but didn't break or roll into canter.

10-11-10 - Bay gaited mare has jewels on her halter maybe a hint to her past? Quiet and gentle Lara rode her with other horses around and she did great leading in the middle or trailing behind. For her gaits she did walk, trot normal canter and also what appeared to be pacing so she is multigaited possibly a morgan but was reported to be paso cross.
