Note: Murray has reported that she will be filing a civil suit against party who signed agreement for the three horses. If not for AC4H going to broker lots and auctions these three probably would have slipped through the cracks. No funds were received or offered from Michael Gill or Murray Rojas for the saves conducted by AC4H and supporters.

To date Murray Rojas has not filed a civil suit for the reportedly broken contract. There were a total of 3 horses involved that went right to auction and sold to slaughter the day the contract was signed.

Green but willing and looking for guidance this young mare can go any direction. Suitable for Hunter, jumper, eventing or dressage she's is clean legged and sound. Just a really nice young mare that with a few months of good foundation training would be wonderful- should easily transition into a fantastic show horse! She does have a temperament where she prefers to be left alone when in the pasture, not a real 'lovey' horse but responsive under saddle.

Jonah gaited gelding very gentle and kind been there done that kind of guy. He is approx 15 hands and late teens. He was dropped off at auction and was too thin to go through the ring. He was taken in has been quarantined and is now looking really good. He doesn't have a lot of sole - x-rays were done he does have mild rotation but as you can see he still enjoys riding and the only thing he needs is boots which he has and will go with him when he is placed.

Chester - unfit for sale He was too thin to go thru sale so he was pulled and the owner surrendered him to the rescue. This is how it is SUPPOSED to happen when an ill, injured, or neglected horse shows up at auction.

No charges were brought up against the owner because they were consigning other horses that were in good flesh so it appeared it wasn't a neglect case, maybe just a specific health issue with this horse.

AC4H took him in as we have with many others. We are asking for donations to help with his care and upkeep for the unfit horses we help.

Patti - Jenny donkey helped by donations through AC4H. Patti is a wonderful standard donkey mare or jenny who loves kids and attention super gentle and loveable. She has a huge personality and is a great companion and would be a great addition to any family.

She gave birth to Sadie Mae a jenny who was the first long ear born at AC4H on 7-27. We believe Sadie Mae's sire was a mammoth donkey. Unfortunately Sadie Mae injured herself -presented by pointing her left hind toe forward - no trauma marks, swelling or heat presented - full x-rays were done even on her other side to compare growth plates. x-rays were clean palpation showed nothing and it looked like a soft tissue issue which should resolve in about a week or possibly an abscess although hoof when tested wasn't sensative... a week later with no improvement she was rechecked and a fracture in her pelvis was found. There were no treatment options. Sadie Mae was humanely laid to rest 10-8-09. We are devistated. RIP Sadie you will be always loved and never forgotten.

“Boggs” a beautiful thoroughbred gelding with a cute little heart on his forehead, how could we not love him! Boggs is very well bred, he by Theatrical out of a Devils Bag mare. He was bred in Kentucky by the same person who bred the very talented Exceller who tragically died in a Swedish slaughterhouse. We couldn’t let Boggs meet the same fate. Boggs last raced at Philadelphia Park in Sept. of 08’ and had been given to what was believed to be a good safe home. We were able to reach Boggs former owner who informed us that he was placed in what she thought was a good safe home, unfortunately there was no written contract or agreement in place. He almost fell through the crack. He is doing well and we will keep you updated on his progress. Bogg’s previous owner is unable to take him back, though she would’ve loved to have been able to do so. But she has offered to donate towards his rescue but to date we haven't received anything for him. We could really use some assistance for his quarantine and care as well as an angel.

No studdish behavior and is bottom of pecking order. I had a home in Florida but when I saw the vet he looked at my eye and saw that I am blind in my right eye but that there is an active infection under the lense that cannot be helped with topical meds there was no way I could go to Florida I needed help now. This could have happened because of an ulcer or a poke that sealed but my eye needs to be removed. They have offered to QT me and do the surgery eye removal for $400.00 - I need a total of $550.00 to help me.

10-2-18 - QH mare AQHA papers with her for Zans Rosie Playgirl foaled 2002- reportedly never broke but does accept a rider and I don't think it would be hard to break her she willingly does lead line and is very gentle. The papers came with the horse at the sale corresponding with hip tag number.

She has a HUGE suspiciously looking belly - we did call the last recorded owner who said she was open when she left there... so it's anyone's guess but phew she sure looks to be.

The last recorded owner isn't interested in helping her said he had to "get rid" of some and it was a tough decision but kids left doing something else and some had to go... received follow up call from wife I had asked her to ID the horse - she reported saying this isn't the horse they owned so the papers aren't hers. She said they traded for a horse that rode with a better pedigree and couldn't control where they wound up or what happened to them after... that doesn't cut it... it's called a written contract!

I advised the last recorded owner of papers to call AQHA and let them know that papers aren't with their horse anymore (2 weeks after trading horses) and the probability is she was slaughtered for human consumption abroad statistically since she wasn't broke to ride and obviously doesn't have her papers. No clue how these papers wound up with this mare other than the hip tag was written on the papers and they went through the auction that way one can only speculate as to how that happened.
